It is recommended to refine the blade with the FINE ceramic slot multiple times for a razor-sharp edge. However, this sharpener is not suitable for serrated knives, ceramic knives, or knives with an angle larger than 40°.

To use the sharpener, insert your pocket knife blade into the COARSE slot at a 90° angle and press down with moderate pressure, repeating 3-5 times. Then, insert the knife blade into the FINE slot for the final edge honing, repeating 6-10 times. The lanyard hole allows for easy attachment to a backpack or keychain, making it a good companion for survival tools, camping gear, and quick repairs.
